基因测序已经开启免费的窗口,基因数据分析从数年时间到24小时(预计到2020年),从高门槛的建模编程到云平台定制化分析,基因数据量达到EB水平(10^9GB),第三方检测公司雨后春笋……同时,基因数据的解读——特别在临床基因诊断时,把大数据解读成信息和可用价值——依然是需要解决的主要挑战之一。因为临床的复杂性和模糊性,使得临床表型的采集,和数据库的连接及专业的解读变得非常重要。基于此,国内一众热心的科研和临床工作者正在汉化国际著名表型数据库HPO成为CHPO。同时,临床医师,临床遗传学家和临床咨询师在这个步骤有着不可替代的重要作用。在2016年北京医学会医学遗传学专业学术年会暨京津冀医学遗传学联盟成立大会上,中日友好医院的顾卫红大夫就《HPO在连接遗传病表型与相关数据库中的作用》主题做了精彩的分享(如下)。
